Sure Bak, who worked as an interactive product UX designer at Porsche, currently works on designing HRI (Human-Robot Interaction) at NAVER LABS. He clearly defines the difference between a car and a robot as a car being ‘me’ and a robot being ‘you’. Traditionally, a car was seen as an extension of the human body. That is, people identified themselves with their cars. One’s personality can be expressed through one’s car. When a car speeds up, the driver feels as if they are racing.
