As AI and 4K rise in adoption on smart video cameras, these higher video resolutions are driving the demand for more data to be stored on-camera. Today’s security cameras often record video continuously in 1080p, but 4K-compliant cameras are projected to make up over 24 percent of all network cameras shipped by 2023. 1 That means more bits of data generated – up to 5.7x for 4K versus 1080p video – and represents a fast-growing desire for reliable storage onboard security cameras.2

Isolation, quarantine, social distancing… all of these terms have two things in common:
1.) they are necessary and powerful tools that are saving lives in the global battle against Covid-19.
2.) they are cutting people off from one another and generating a sentiment of anxiety and loneliness we cannot ignore.
There is no doubt that staying at home is of the utmost importance as together we begin to turn the tide of the Coronavirus pandemic. But as silence continues to rein in the streets and an eerie calm has replaced the hustle and bustle of our once-frenzied towns and cities, the soul yearns for sound. For connection. For hope.
In this sense, music can be an incredibly potent medicine in this time.

Motorola won its second Red Dot award of the year with the recently launched motorola edge and motorola edge+. Submitted as a family, these two new devices have been recognized in the world’s most renowned design competition for their outstanding design quality. In 2020, designers and companies from 60 countries entered more than 6,500 products in the competition, with only 25% being honored with this recognition.

We learn at an early age that every milestone is a good reason to gather, share our excitement with friends and family, feel pride in our accomplishments, and enjoy the warmth of connection. And the reason for celebration can be defined in many different ways. It can mark something as simple as the passing of time (like a birthday), or something a person spends years working toward, like a high school or college graduation. Celebrating and marking milestones is more important than ever when times are difficult. What better opportunity to highlight the positive, and come together to support one another than when other parts of life are uncertain? But how do you celebrate when people need to stay physically distant to be safe?
