Sphero made some noise in Vegas. BOLT rolled the floor of CES and found a party at the Sphero booth with our latest and greatest. Specdrums app-enabled musical rings were a smash hit with the crowd, which included live DJ demos, a hands-on play experience, and rave reviews.
Calling all explorers… this is the program for you! The compass program uses the magnetometer in BOLT to track your offset from due north and display a real-time compass needle on the LED matrix. It works just like a real compass which finds north based on Earth’s natural magnetic field, and then points the red needle due north no matter which way you face. You can utilize the compass side of the protractor that comes with BOLT by placing the robot right in the center of the opening, and then align the “N” (north) arrow with the red needle on the matrix. When you spin around, now the protractor will clearly tell you the direction you are facing.
Vector is made to hang out and help out. Now that he is equipped with Amazon Alexa (Launching Dec. 17, US/CA only), his ability to help out has just grown by leaps and bounds. #HeyVector
