One of the most common misconceptions is that solar power doesn’t work in cold or overcast conditions and that solar power can only work in sunny locales. During hot or cold conditions, sunlight can be absorbed by PV cells in solar panels. Even though the sky might be overcast, solar panels will continue to produce energy as well.
