Recently we shared an article highlighting a story about a man who took Apple to court in order to gain the rights to his late husband’s Apple account. In this story, we saw how the death of a loved one, as tragic as it can be on its own, can become worse when precious digital assets get involved. A situation like this would have never arisen 30 years ago, as family photos were kept in tangible albums and old shoe boxes rather than password-protected virtual clouds.
