Monty holds a lifelong passion for diving – a passion which has taken him all over the world to lead dozens of epic diving expeditions, including the sunken city of Mahabalipuram in India, and the sardine run along the coast of South Africa. Halls became a household name following his popular BBC Great Escape series. A marine biologist and conservationist, Halls has in recent years campaigned for environmental causes and worked to protect delicate marine ecosystems.
