Prime Day came to life for customers on July 15, 2015, as a way to celebrate Prime members on Amazon’s 20th birthday. We continue to innovate on behalf of the customer, with Prime Day growing each year. Prime Day 2019, will be the longest ever, set for 48 hours – July 15 and 16 – around the world. So, we’re taking a look back at the history of Prime Day.
