Setting up your August Smart Lock Pro with the Google Assistant

With August Smart Lock, your phone is now your key. And now, so is your voice. August Smart Lock Pro works with Google Home or any Google Assistant-enabled device. With August Google Assistant integration, you can ask Google to control your door. To enable voice control, you will need an August Connect Wi-Fi Bridge to speak to your lock. Or, an August Doorbell Cam will work. All devices need to be powered, connected to Wi-Fi and paired with your lock. Just launch the Google Asssistant app. From here, tap the blue drawer icon in the upper-right corner. Then tap the menu icon in the upper-right corner. Select settings, then scroll up and select home control. Tap the + icon in the lower-right corner to add devices. Select August Home. Sign in with your August account information to see your August Smart Lock listed in the Google Assistant’s devices section. Assign a room to your lock, then you’re all sent.
