The outbreak of novel coronavirus has had an unprecedented impact on the travel industry: flights have been cancelled, hotel rooms refunded, and people have been staying home social distancing. Travel numbers are slowly rising however. According to one COVID-19 travel study, 40% of travelers surveyed indicated the likelihood of taking a domestic leisure trip with the next six months and 64% said they would be booking a leisure trip within the next six months. With a renewed interest in travel, comes an increase in necessary safety precautions.
